Every Madgia Designs piece is bespoke and made to order. Timber selection is an important part of the design, with species chosen to suit the look, character and requirements of each project.

We work with a range of Australian hardwoods, and through our timber suppliers we can source a variety of other timbers and timber slabs when a project calls for something specific.

Where possible, clients can discuss timber selection and finish with us and, for suitable projects, select boards at the timber yard. The examples below show some of the species we have used in our own work.

Messmate
